This project is located in an area we identified as having great potential for medium-density residential development, as it boasts significant commercial and service growth, excellent connectivity (close to the Panamericana Highway), and a rich natural environment. Thus, we propose a housing complex typology that lies somewhere between a single-family home and an apartment within a building.
This collection of single-story homes with two additional levels includes “house-like” units with 1, 2, and 3 bedrooms, each with its own green extension. Additionally, there is a large communal green space on the ground floor, a swimming pool, a multi-purpose room (SUM), and a community garden, all designed to encourage communal living.
The project incorporates the use of modern yet rustic materials, stripped of ornaments or embellishments (wood, metal, concrete) to integrate seamlessly with both the existing nature and the identity developed in the area (the aesthetic of Mendoza Street).
Once again, we rethink the way of living by offering inspiring spaces, strong connections with nature and the outdoors, and an inclusive approach to what we want to contribute to the city.
